Dr. Lim Teng Wei graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education India in Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with first class honors and distinction in 2005. In 2011 he obtained his Internal Medicine post-graduate degree (MRCP, MRCPS) from United Kingdom.
Dr Lim was working in the government sector since 2006. He had worked in several district and state government hospitals throughout Malaysia. . He was a state Facilitator and Chairman for Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar, Seremban Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) / Advanced ECG course respectively. Over the years, he has conducted workshops, courses, and presentations providing up-to-date Continuing Medical Education (CME) for the medical personnel and actively involved in various clinical researches conducted in hospital setting. He was appointed by MRCP(UK) as a local coordinator for the MRCP paces examination held annually in Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar, Seremban. Then, he joined NSCMH Medical Centre, Seremban in January 2014 as a Resident Consultant Physician / Head of Medical Department.
Throughout his career, Dr Lim was awarded The Excellence in Service Award (Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang) in 2011 by Ministry of Health, Malaysia for his excellent service. In 2013, he was conferred Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang Masyarakat (P.M.C) by Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan.
In all respects, he has been well trained and gazetted as an Internal Medicine Physician with credential for internal medicine procedures including Bronchoscopy, OGDS, Colonoscopy and Echocardiography.
