Dr Lim Hong Jin qualified as a doctor with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the International Medical University.
He served as a houseman and medical officer in Hospital Kuala Lumpur for six years, managing patients in the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care for all surgeries including general and vascular, orthopaedic and trauma, paediatric, obstetrical and gynaecological, as well as otorhinolaryngologic surgeries.
Dr Lim obtained the Master of Anaesthesiology from University Malaya in the year 2011 while he served as a medical officer in University Malaya Medical Centre, and he subsequently went on to become the Head of Department of Anaesthesia and Critical Care in Hospital Miri.
Dr Lim then returned to serve his hometown as an Anaesthesiologist in Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban, and joined NSCMH Medical Centre as Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist in 2019.
